Kate is the best trainer I have ever worked with. I’ve tried everything for my chronic hip pain for 10+ years, from physical therapy to yoga, to no avail, and Kate’s mobility and strength classes have helped more than anything I’ve ever done in the past. She listens and often adjusts her classes based on your feedback, and will help correct you when needed in a way that makes you better, not just focused on perfect form. I used to have no idea what I was doing at the gym and Kate has given me the confidence and the knowledge to go and do my own workouts. She is so knowledgeable, so understanding, and so creative in her work and you really see the results the more you work with her. After about 2 years of working with her, I feel like I am stronger and more mobile than I’ve ever been.

I’m so grateful I found Kate’s classes! I knew I needed to incorporate more strength and mobility into my exercise routine. Kate in an amazing trainer! She is personable, knowledgeable, and good at her job. She knows how to design a program that meets your needs, when to push you forward and when to just help you get through the day. I really appreciate her attention to the why of the exercise (don't just rep with a barbell to say you can do x reps, get strong so you can pick up your kid more easily!). Kate and I have been working together remotely now for several years, and I am always impressed how effective her routines are. She'll work with your individual set up to make sure you're getting your best movements in. And if maybe a position needs a tweak, she'll give the right cues to help you adjust. No fooling her if you're being sloppy! If she's this good by computer, she's downright awesome in person!

I love Kate! As a trainer, obviously! Her energy and love of fitness/ movement is palpable and infectious. It's hard not to be energized and motivated to improve your fitness when training with her! Even when you feel a little burned out from all that you are doing, as I have occasionally been! Kate plans really fun programs that kicks my butt. Not only that, they really work on your overall fitness... flexibility, ease of movement, and getting stronger. She really looks at your overall fitness, not just one part. And Kate is really receptive to my ideas. One month, I was feeling really burned out and wanted a playground-type workout to kind of engage with my inner child. Kate made it happen. I like to say that I'm getting stronger because of Kate and despite my best efforts to the contrary sometimes. What I appreciate about Kate too is that she is no pushover. No amount of whining will get you out of certain workouts, even if she'll listen to why you're griping about it. As an example, we are currently locked in battle over the need for me to do pushups. I have worked with Kate on and off for 10 years. The inconsistency was on my part. Kate keeps me coming back because she is authentic, knowledgeable, approachable and welcoming. I'm the least athletic soul and I somehow look athletic in her classes! She wants you to succeed and to be able to work out safely! If you are doing something incorrectly she will kindly explain how to adjust and why. I have often sent her links to health and wellness products to see if it's something I should be using. She will explain the pros and cons and explain if it's actually beneficial. Ex; collagen shakes are kind of silly for my lifestyle even though they were all the rage at the time. I get plenty from fruit and vegetables. I have learned a lot from her and I value the knowledge that I have gained.
